Why oh why didn't I review these people…

Why oh why didn't I review these people before I got burned with over $2000 AUD.
1) Incomplete order!
2) No responce from emails!
3) Bet they are using up the 30 day policy as I'm in Australia.
4) Paid tax, import duites etc on over $500 USD of parts never sent!

I had similar experience like others when ordering parts. When I placed my parts order, the site showed a shipping date of 2 to 3 weeks. However, I was not inform that the manufacture would take another 2 to 3 weeks to fulfilled the order and it wasn't until i called and then email that found out about the delay. Solomotopart did give me the option to cancel the order, and if could wait that long. The savings for me was $50 dollars, if i was to order from another vendor. I had oder the parts with ample time for my schedule ride. So I greed to wait, and waited.

The shipped oder was missing a doubletake mirror, my order showed processed so I emailed to let them know of the missing item. Mike from solo moto said that they would look into the issue, and later said that they had refunded me for the item. But it wasn't until i asked for the missing item that they refunded the money and told me about their internal issue with the vendor not doing drop shipping for their customer orders (that is not the customer's fault), and as if they didn't know that they had not shipped the item. Solo moto should Not have an item available for purchasing and available with a shipping date at the time of costumer purchase if the don't have it in stock and or can't get it from the vendor or have issues with vendor and internal staff filling orders and not letting the customer know about the order.

Talk about irritating inconvenience, I didn't get the parts in time for my planed long weekend ride, spend over $500 (and you would think is free shipping - yeah no you pay for shipping)

Mike at solo moto offer a refund, like here is your money go a way. I say this because i told him that i didn't want a refunds - send my the part i order. How about, we made a mistake let us fix it and as soon as we get the item in stock we will ship one out to you for your inconvenience and appreciation for your valuable customer patronage. You paid for an item waited for us over a month to ship and didn't get one of the parts - will make it right.

I've order parts from other vendors like ReveZilla, Rocky Mountain, ProCycle, RSW... they have shipped parts on the date posted on their site, email and posted a tracking # no hassle - you wondering about shipping or parts availability. If is not in stock, it's posted - not available/out of stock - back order. I save a little by getting my part from different vendors as they have different prices, Not with Solomotoparts - you might save a little but be aware you may not get order parts and wait a long time for ordered parts.

Really bad customer service

Really bad customer service. I purchased 3 SuperSprox rear sprockets for my DRZ 400SM. Either the parts were shipped/labeled in error, or the were not manufactured correctly. Granted, they say there's a 30 day return policy, but I didn't open the packages for a little over 60 days. The parts do NOT fit. SoloMotoParts gives their 30 day return policy as the reason for refusing a refund. I can't say I ever recall a business sticking to the letter of their policy when it was the business that screwed up. As it stands, I can't even sell them on EBay, since I don't know what hey fit. Thanks!

One of the worst online vendors out there

Ordered a seat for my bike. Upon receiving my order, I open the box and surprise! It was the wrong material. Got in touch with a representative and was told they would rectify the situation. Here it is two weeks later and crickets. No one will return my calls or emails. Now I’m stuck with this seat, and no way to return it for a refund. This seems to be their standard of practice. If you need to buy parts online, take your time and exhaust all options before giving this company your hard earned money. They will let you down

I got screwed out of $70

Ordered some bar ends through them. Paid $70 for it. Got nothing. I called them to see if they can ship me another set or refund me. They said it’s my problem to deal with the post office. Now I I’m out $70 and nothing to show for it. Their customer service is garbage. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from them. Once they get your money they really can care less about you.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

Ordered Tank Bag with Tank ring. Only received Tank Bag. Customer service is none existent, they don't care about their customers. No one is answering the phones, I called 3 times. At same time I started sending emails (3), every time I got an answer with we are escalating this, after a week, no response. On my 3rd email I asked for partial refund for the tank ring, again it was forwarded to manager this time, NO ANSWER. DO NOT BUY, STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS, CUSTOMER SERVICE NONE EXISTENT AND RETURN ITEM IS NONE EXISTENT EITHER.

Quick response with new management

I've been buying from this website for 8 years, the new managment are more responsive. However I was calling the old numbers and now they have new numbers on motorcycledot.com

C's solomotoparts.com and motorcycledot.com scammed me

Its several weeks after the estimated delivery date. I never received my order.
The order status on their web site says "Processing".

Customer support will not respond.

This company is a scam.
Solomotoparts. Com

*******@solomotoparts. Com 10+ emails. NO RESPONSE.

*******099 MANY voice mails (no real person picks up). NO RESPONSE

Solomotoparts. Com is owned by Motorcycle Dot Inc www.motorcycledot. Com

I also tried e-mailing that parent company.
